Bob has been a financial services industry professional since 1999. For over ten years he was a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. In March of 2010 he decided it served his clients best if he opened the doors of his own practice, with the J. Poels Financial branch.
He has a great deal of experience in the areas of wealth management, retirement income distribution planning, insurance planning strategies, and estate planning concepts. His specific client focus is working with individuals and couples who are near to, or are, retired. He does not dilute his time and efforts by attempting to be a "jack of all trades". Working with near-retirees and retirees is his sole focus and he works to be the best there is in this area.
Bob has worked hard to continue his education since receiving his degree in finance, investment and banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has since gained four additional professional designations through a series of coursework, exams, and experience qualifications. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter, the Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Advisor to Senior Living, and the Chartered Financial Consultant designations.
